Role Overview: The State Inventory Officer is tasked with overseeing the inventory of POS devices within the region, ensuring proper tracking, secure storage, and effective distribution. This position is vital for operational efficiency, including validating serial numbers and maintaining supply chain integrity.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Keep precise records of POS devices, monitor stock levels, and conduct regular audits to reconcile inventory.
- Serial Validation: Confirm the accuracy of serial numbers for received devices and address discrepancies swiftly.
- Discrepancy Management: Investigate and resolve inventory inconsistencies, implementing measures to enhance accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory operations and communicate effectively.
- Additional Duties: Undertake other operational tasks as assigned by the State Coordinator.
Requirements:
- OND/HND or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
- Relevant experience in inventory management or similar roles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
