Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Incident Commander to oversee critical incidents, ensuring rapid service restoration through effective cross-functional coordination. Your primary responsibility is to manage the incident response process, guiding the team to minimize customer impact and ensuring that lessons learned are captured for future improvements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead incident management from declaration to resolution, maintaining focus on swift customer impact mitigation.
- Classify incident severity and engage appropriate teams promptly.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder communications regarding impact and status updates.
- Facilitate seamless handoffs between global teams, ensuring continuity and clarity of information.
- Document incident timelines accurately and ensure follow-up actions are assigned and tracked.
- Drive automation of coordination tasks to enhance efficiency in incident response.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in managing high-severity incidents in a technical environment.
- Strong decision-making skills and ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with FinTech and API-driven platforms.
- Experience using AI tools for enhancing operational efficiency is a plus.
