Job Overview: The Inventory Team Lead is responsible for managing a team of inventory operators, ensuring effective oversight of stock management processes within the warehouse.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of inventory operators, providing necessary support and guidance.
- Oversee all aspects of inventory, including receiving, tracking, and counting stock.
- Assign team tasks and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to address discrepancies.
- Update inventory records and prepare KPI reports for management.
- Coordinate with suppliers on inbound shipments and manage discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in warehouse operations or inventory management with leadership capabilities.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and principles.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- NYSC certificate or valid exemption letter required; must be based in Abuja.
