Role Overview: The State Inventory Officer is tasked with overseeing the inventory of POS devices within the designated region. This position is vital for operational efficiency, focusing on accurate tracking, secure storage, and effective distribution of devices.
Main Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Keep precise records of POS devices, monitor stock levels, and coordinate restocking efforts. Conduct regular stock audits for accuracy.
- Serial Validation: Ensure serial numbers for received devices match records, communicate any discrepancies, and manage documentation.
- Discrepancy Management: Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies to enhance accuracy.
- Collaboration: Work with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to streamline inventory processes and communicate inventory status effectively.
- Additional Duties: Carry out other tasks as assigned by the State Coordinator.
Qualifications: An OND/HND or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Relevant experience in inventory management is essential.
Skills: Strong analytical abilities, technical proficiency with inventory software, attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication capabilities are required.
Success Metrics: Achieving accuracy in tracking and records, preventing stock shortages, and ensuring seamless communication with teams.
