Role Overview
As the AI Automation Lead, you will spearhead the internal AI automation strategy across various departments including sales, operations, support, and HR. This role is not solely about execution; you'll identify areas where repetitive tasks hinder progress, design effective automation solutions, and implement them using LLM APIs and low/no-code platforms. Collaborating closely with team leaders, you will convert operational challenges into actionable, measurable automations.
Main Responsibilities
- Conduct quarterly automation discovery sessions to identify high-ROI opportunities.
- Create and deploy 2–3 AI automation solutions monthly using tools like n8n, Make, or Zapier.
- Integrate LLM APIs into workflows with effective prompt design and structured outputs.
- Track and report on automation metrics, including success rates and cost savings.
- Maintain a library of prompts to ensure continuous improvement.
- Train team leaders on self-service automation.
- Collaborate with Security and IT on compliance and data handling.
Candidate Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in building automations or internal tools.
- Proficient in at least one low-code automation platform.
- Familiarity with LLM API integration.
- SQL proficiency for data manipulation.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python or JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving skills and product instincts.
- Excellent communication abilities to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
- Experience with agentic workflows or vector databases.
- Knowledge of HubSpot or Salesforce data models.
- Experience in a SOC 2/GDPR-compliant environment.
