Position Summary
We are seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design and implement AI agents for our pre-construction platform. This role encompasses the entire lifecycle of AI agents, from development to deployment, while contributing to our core engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deploy AI agents that automate the permitting process.
- Integrate multiple models and tools to develop efficient AI systems.
- Build and maintain the internal infrastructure for monitoring these agents.
- Develop backend and frontend services, APIs, and data pipelines, incorporating AI functionalities as needed.
- Contribute to system architecture and core platform design.
- Establish evaluations and benchmarks for assessing agent performance.
- Optimize backend systems for efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in software or machine learning engineering.
- Proven experience in deploying production-level AI/ML systems.
- Expertise in developing multi-step ML workflows and pipelines.
- Strong backend and API development skills, with some frontend exposure.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and reliability.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
