Position Summary: We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Platform team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing the frameworks, tools, and CI/CD infrastructure that facilitate rapid and reliable feature deployment for our engineering teams. Your expertise in Go programming, automated testing, and Kubernetes will be crucial as you enhance our quality assurance processes, leveraging AI technologies to optimize testing and incident coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for REST and gRPC APIs.
- Utilize AI-based tools to streamline test generation and enhance regression coverage.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Google Cloud Build.
- Conduct load and scalability tests to ensure platform performance under demand.
- Introduce chaos engineering practices to identify potential failure modes.
- Collaborate with teams to improve testing coverage and reliability.
- Mentor product engineers, fostering a culture of quality enhancement.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of software engineering experience with production systems.
- Proficiency in Go and strong familiarity with AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Experience with CI pipeline development, especially using GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and automated testing frameworks.
- Startup experience is preferred, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
