Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Position Summary: We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability and performance of our brokerage platform as we expand. This role involves working with our cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, observability stack, and data systems, with a particular focus on PostgreSQL database reliability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day production operations, including on-call duties and incident management.
• Establish and refine service level indicators and objectives, assisting product teams in meeting them.
• Enhance observability across various metrics and logs.
• Implement infrastructure through code within a GitOps framework.
• Optimize PostgreSQL performance and oversee schema migrations.
• Guide engineers on reliability and database best practices through reviews and mentorship.

Requirements:

• 4+ years in SRE, DevOps, or backend engineering with a focus on production operations.
• Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps workflows.
• Proficient in PostgreSQL and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Familiarity with incident response and observability tools.
• Proficiency in Go or Python with excellent communication skills.
