Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Cyber Security Engineer / DevSecOps professional who excels in collaboration, bridging offensive and defensive security practices. This role involves active participation with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to enhance our security architecture from the outset.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to review and propose security-enhancing features.
- Lead the secure Software Development Life Cycle (S-SDLC) and evaluate security acceptance criteria.
- Train team members on security best practices and perform penetration tests pre- and post-deployment.
- Conduct regular assessments and penetration tests for web, mobile, and cloud platforms.
- Identify security vulnerabilities through red teaming with infrastructure teams.
- Define and monitor infrastructure security protocols, contribute to the security roadmap, and manage bug-bounty programs.
- Research and respond to security incidents, enhancing logging and monitoring solutions.
- Mentor security team members and manage vulnerability assessments for production environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in application and infrastructure penetration testing.
- Proficient in security code reviews; Python knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong grasp of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and software development principles.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with networks, network security, and managing SIEM solutions.
