Founding Engineer

Join Limrun in our mission to enhance the capabilities of AI agents by developing cutting-edge cloud-based tools and applications. We are seeking an engineer to help expand and scale our platform.

Role Overview
As a key member of our team, you will influence product development and manage projects from conception through ongoing support. Your role will also include participating in an on-call rotation, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing fixes.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and launch innovative tools, features, and cloud services, including Go services, APIs, and Kubernetes controllers.
• Enhance startup times, optimize scheduling, and efficiently manage compute resources as demand increases.
• Establish and maintain tenant isolation, access controls, and networking to safeguard customer workloads.
• Automate host provisioning, service upgrades, and disaster recovery processes.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their workflows and convert their challenges into improved APIs and features.

Requirements
Candidates should have experience in building and scaling cloud infrastructure with a focus on deployment, observability, and reliability. Proficiency in writing and maintaining Go services is essential, along with a solid understanding of Kubernetes architecture. Candidates should also be comfortable diagnosing issues across applications, networking, and operating systems.

Nice to Have

• Experience with sandboxing, managing Linux/macOS hosts, or networking protocols.
• Background in developing APIs, SDKs, CLIs, or CI systems.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development for operational tasks.
