Position Summary
We are seeking a Head of Engineering for our Rewards platform, a key component of our user retention strategy. This role involves transforming our existing cashback product into a comprehensive rewards and engagement platform for our diverse user base, including business customers, consumers, and sales agents. You will lead a team of nine engineers and expand the organization, focusing on performance improvement and innovative product development.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee the technical strategy, architecture, and roadmap for the Rewards platform.
• Enhance the current cashback product's performance and reliability.
• Develop a broader rewards and engagement platform.
• Build and structure the engineering team, focusing on hiring and managing talent.
• Foster a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with Growth, Sales, and Marketing teams to achieve acquisition and retention goals.
• Define engineering standards and metrics for quality and performance.

Qualifications
Applicants should have over 10 years of software engineering experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams. Direct experience in consumer-facing product engineering, A/B testing, and familiarity with Java and Spring Boot is essential. A background in fintech or rewards platforms is an advantage.
