Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of Engineering for our Field Verification platform, essential for verifying the authenticity of our customers as part of our KYC process. This role will lead a cross-functional team in enhancing our verification system, which supports onboarding, compliance, and fraud prevention. You will transition the platform from maintenance mode to strategic development, focusing on operational efficiency, mobile experience, and multi-country scalability.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for Field Verification.
• Manage and expand the engineering team while improving task allocation and capacity management.
• Oversee the design of APIs and webhooks for integration with other business units.
• Ensure compliance and data integrity in verification processes.
• Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years in software engineering with significant backend experience, primarily in Java and Spring Boot.
• 5+ years in engineering leadership roles, managing teams and projects.
• Proven ability to build scalable platforms and adapt solutions across various industries.
• Experience with geospatial data and compliance-related projects is advantageous.
