Position: Head of Workplace IT
M-KOPA is seeking a Head of Workplace IT to elevate our operational efficiency. This essential position is responsible for managing technology and services that support over 2,500 employees across various locations, such as offices, warehouses, retail sites, and call centers in six countries.
Your Impact: As a leader in this role, you will contribute to our mission of promoting financial inclusion for millions throughout Africa. You will ensure network functionality, oversee service desk operations, and secure endpoints, all of which are vital for our workforce and agents who provide financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute the Workplace IT strategy, covering networks, telephony, and identity management.
- Lead a multi-country IT team and manage both operational and capital expenditure budgets.
- Improve IT infrastructure at various sites while prioritizing user experience.
- Implement strong security protocols and ensure adherence to industry compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing IT operations across multiple sites.
- Excellent vendor management and contract negotiation abilities.
- In-depth knowledge of security practices and network performance metrics.
- Ability to excel in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments with a focus on user needs.
