Role Overview: M-KOPA is seeking a Head of Workplace IT to oversee technology and services that support productivity for over 2,500 employees across multiple locations. This role is pivotal in enhancing our internal operations as we scale our impact in financial inclusion across Africa.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end Workplace IT roadmap, including networks, telephony, and end-user computing.
- Lead a multi-country IT team, overseeing operational and capital budgets.
- Ensure strong vendor management for ISPs, hardware suppliers, and SaaS contracts.
- Implement IT security measures and maintain business continuity plans.
- Facilitate the establishment of IT capabilities for new sites as M-KOPA expands.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership in a multi-site IT environment, preferably across countries.
- Strong skills in commercial management and vendor negotiations.
- Deep understanding of security practices related to identity and network.
- Experience in high-growth markets and user-focused IT solutions.
- Relevant certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
