We are seeking a permanent Senior Backend Engineer to enhance our Asset Sales group and contribute to M-KOPA's FinTech platform. You will develop distributed, event-driven microservices while shaping the future of AI-native engineering at M-KOPA.
Your Impact:
Your contributions will help deliver smartphones and e-motorbikes to Everyday Earners across Africa. M-KOPA has already facilitated over $2 billion in credit to more than 10 million customers, making this role vital in transforming lives across the continent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure.
- Work within an event-driven architecture at scale.
- Own the entire lifecycle of your projects from conception to deployment.
Requirements:
- Strong background in C# and .NET development.
- Experience with event-driven systems and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with observability tools like Grafana or Application Insights.
- Comfort with AI tools in engineering workflows.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
