Join Thndr as a Senior DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer and become an integral part of our dynamic fintech team. We seek a candidate with extensive hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, containerization, and DevOps methodologies. Your role will involve strategic planning and execution of our DevOps and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring the robustness of both cloud and on-premise systems that support critical financial applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS and on-premise setups.
- Lead the strategy for containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes, adhering to best practices for deployment and security.
- Create and manage complex networking solutions, including VPCs, routing, firewalls, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Develop and oversee CI/CD pipelines for applications and infrastructure with automated testing and deployment.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Terragrunt for scalable, multi-region infrastructures.
- Establish monitoring and alerting systems for infrastructure components to enhance proactive issue management.
- Collaborate with various teams to facilitate smooth production releases and mentor junior engineers.
- Drive initiatives that integrate technical and operational perspectives for efficient infrastructure delivery.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) and strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
- Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts in both cloud and on-prem environments.
- Proven ability in developing and executing DevOps strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
- Knowledge of security standards and compliance in the fintech space.
