Role Overview
As the Team Lead for our Android app, the most popular text-to-speech application on the Play Store, you will oversee core product initiatives while actively contributing to coding and feature development. This role emphasizes collaboration, decision-making, and optimizing team efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage major features from conception to launch, collaborating closely with design.
- Ensure reliability metrics for key features are maintained and improved.
- Review code submissions, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
- Identify and resolve team blockages, facilitating smooth workflows.
- Streamline processes to reduce manual intervention in releases.
- Lead planning efforts to prioritize decision-making work.
- Foster growth for early-career engineers by providing mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with leadership in team settings.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and related technologies.
- Experience with background audio and long-running tasks.
