Job Overview
We are looking for a Team Lead for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to oversee a group of engineers dedicated to maintaining the reliability of our expansive financial platform. This role involves designing robust reliability architectures, mentoring team members, establishing the technical roadmap, and fostering a culture of SRE while balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical contributions.

Main Responsibilities

• Set the technical vision for the SRE team and create self-healing systems.
• Define reliability standards and promote observability as code, alongside automation best practices.
• Ensure comprehensive system visibility and manage the monitoring ecosystem to reduce alert fatigue.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Senior and Associate SREs.
• Oversee major incidents and refine incident management processes for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Product Leads to set Service Level Objectives (SLOs) aligned with business goals.

Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of 6 years in SRE or Backend Engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Expertise in Java, Go, Rust, or Python is required, alongside proficiency in distributed systems and cloud platforms like GCP or AWS. Strong communication skills and experience in managing high-pressure situations are essential.
