Join Our People Team as a Lead People Partner!
Become a pivotal member of M-KOPA's People team, focusing on our Technology organization as we enhance financial inclusion for everyday earners throughout Africa. With a growing customer base of 10 million and over $2 billion in credit unlocked, your leadership will be crucial in building and retaining our engineering talent.
Your Role:
- Collaborate with our CTO and leadership across Engineering, Data, Analytics, IT, and Security to align the people strategy with business goals.
- Design organizational structures to support our globally distributed engineering teams across diverse regions.
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring effective people partnerships within Technology and Product divisions.
- Utilize people analytics to drive decisions on capability and attrition.
- Oversee complex employee relations, managing sensitive cases effectively.
Requirements:
- Senior HR experience in technology or fintech, specifically within engineering sectors.
- Proven organizational design skills, leading structural changes.
- Ability to work strategically and operationally, comfortable engaging with C-level executives.
- Experience in cross-cultural team support across various regions.
- Strong judgment in employee relations, ideally with knowledge of UK/European laws.
