Talent Acquisition Strategist

Job Overview: Canonical is innovating the hiring process with a dedicated Talent Science team focused on objective and effective selection methods to attract top talent globally. This role will report to the Global Head of Talent Science, with a primary goal of enhancing project delivery related to hiring outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute the strategic Talent Science project roadmap, utilizing strong project management skills.
• Design and implement solutions to complex hiring challenges, ensuring alignment with performance outcomes.
• Develop professional frameworks and processes for efficient talent selection.
• Coach and mentor team members to enhance analytical skills and leadership capabilities.
• Represent the team in the absence of the Head, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Collaborate with company leaders to communicate Canonical's vision for talent acquisition.

Requirements:

• Exceptional academic background with a degree in psychology or related fields.
• Experience in team leadership within a talent function, particularly in technology or consulting.
• Strong understanding of talent selection and ability to leverage technology for hiring efficiencies.
• Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python, or statistical analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences.
• Willingness to travel internationally 2-4 times per year.
