Role Overview: The Head of Fulfillment is a key leadership position responsible for streamlining Jumia’s warehousing operations across four main areas: Inbound, Inventory, Outbound, and Aftersales. Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain Officer, this role manages the entire product lifecycle from vendor receipt to order delivery and returns.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations to meet key performance indicators.
  • Analyze order life cycles to enhance process efficiency.
  • Standardize processes across all warehousing units.
  • Work with technical teams on Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Implement inventory protocols to prevent stock-outs.
  • Ensure accurate financial audits and stock management.
  • Lead and mentor warehousing and aftersales teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related fields.
  • Professional certifications in Logistics/Supply Chain Management are a plus.
  • At least 6 years in operational leadership in e-commerce or large-scale warehousing.
  • Strong analytical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Warehouse Management Systems.
