Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Inventory Manager to oversee operations at our fulfillment center. This role involves ensuring inventory accuracy, availability, and cost-effectiveness while leading a team of inventory associates.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage all inventory management aspects, including receiving, storing, and tracking stock.
- Develop and execute inventory control policies to enhance accuracy and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain optimal inventory levels for timely order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Utilize inventory management systems to track movements and generate performance reports.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely shipment receipts.
- Lead and train a team of inventory associates, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.
- Analyze inventory data to discover opportunities for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Prepare and present inventory performance reports to senior management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field; advanced degree or certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in inventory or supply chain management with leadership experience.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented approach.
